Diary #5 Death
Death is inevitable. comes when you least imagine and in certain occasions the people you love most, the problem in many cases is to overcome the death of a loved one that often people outgrow it but in some cases these do not.
usually a person does not speak at times by some factors such as pressure when taking a decision if the majority agrees and you disagree going to talk because the whole group would fall above and judge you and would reject; another example would be when a family member or friend you want much commits a crime and you are a witness in most cases not betray for love or affection with them.
Every day I witness an injustice is at home, on the street on the school. In most cases I not intervene as it could get into a problem if I intervene in a violent case does not concern me. Honestly would not change as these problems must be solved by offenders, it is that it is a little humaneness but I cannot do anything about this.
I live in constant fear of failure, not being able to achieve move forward with my studies and not be able to return to my parents all the efforts that have done so I go ahead and have a better future. I try not to hide tell anyone because it is a very private thing is my only fear but at the same time something that motivates me to beat and try to fight that fear.
In conclusion after the reflections given we can say that death is something very hard for everyone and that many people are afraid. but try to live with it and accept that any day our loved ones and we will die.
Diary #6. Domestic violence
Domestic violence is a big problem, because it affects a whole family or even couple. The problem with this situation is that in many cases the victims do not report the aggressors for alleged "love" they feel for those people, similar cases are to be treated in the chosen diaries.
I lived half a year in Barranquilla, but I remember that before I had a great friend who I trusted, I stay with that image really leaving, a person in which I could have my problems. Returning to Bogota a year later I went to look but I met someone I did not recognize and that before he was my friend, obviously we stop talking. My reaction to this was sadness because he was one of the person in which more trusted.
I think these people stay with abusers for two reasons, first, if they leave he do not have to go because their families in some cases had warned them of the kind of man she would live but you're not they obeyed and they have no other to stay with the abuser because their families doesn’t accept they return to home. Second: the woman feels love for man but this will stick or abuse this remains only for the single thought that this "love". a way to avoid this is to make awareness campaigns both men and women that love is not violence, to make them think that if their partners beat them means not want that much less who value them as human beings.
Mainly offered me protection at all times is my mother, as it is one that most wants me anytime I need it will be ready to help. I remember that at various times to help my brother when he teased at school I think those were the moments when someone needs my protection.

In conclusion domestic violence is a problem that has a solution, this would raise awareness among families of high and low economic resources so that within families and loving couples there gender balance (women and men ) and races so that there is a full equality.

Diary # 7: Discrimination
Discrimination is something very common in our society. People don’t respect each other all the time and they do this because they feel superior. Maybe because they don’t feel good or it is what they were taught in their families. But at the end we can say that discrimination is sometimes present in all over the world and something difficult to end.
As the freedom writer, I have a place where I feel safe and better when I’m stressed, angry or even sick.  These places are the school and my apartment. Every time I’m in one of these places, I feel a lot safer than every time I’m on the street. This is because I like being with people I know like my family and all my friends.
As a white person I don’t feel that I’m being treated in any positive or negative way. I think maybe because I don’t discriminate others, or maybe because I haven’t know someone that have a problem with my race. The only thing I think I know is that I have some kind of similar things Europe and USA people have, for example the color of the hair and eyes. And I feel like people here in Colombia respect tend to have a lot of respect for people from those places because is not that common to see someone from these important places.
I think people are always trying to understand each other better every day. But as an example, because of people like Donald Trump, Hitler and the social media and news, the society following and relieving in then makes a step forwards.

So I can see that discrimination is something difficult to change, but people can make this less common, but it is something that will never end, because it is part of the human race.
Diary # 8: Make a difference
A lot of people want to make a difference in their lives and in the world. Like some of the freedom writers said these are a lot of stories about people making a difference and organizations as well.
I know about the story of Jacky Robinson, an African American baseball player that created an opportunity for people of their race to play in the baseball league. He was so good that having him playing as the only African American in the league and being better than white people changed a lot of people from the entire world.
Also, I know about Nikola Tesla, he was a Croatian engineering that develop altering current and because of that change the way the second industry revolution develop changing the whole world.
Here in school we have a program called professional studies, that work with career teachers that help us understand everything we want to know about a career we like. This is very good for me because we can make better decisions.
I can see that we can all make a difference if we find the way to get the attention of the society, like Robinson with baseball and Tesla with technology.
"I like this interview and i really enjoyed it, i was so happy when Daniel Robledo told me about his hero."
